INGREDIENTS
Brussels sprouts
Olive oil
Salt and pepper
Fresh crushed garlic (optional)
Fresh grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
PREPARATION
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Rinse Brussels sprouts well, remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves, trim off the base, and slice in half.
- Toss sprouts in a bowl with enough olive oil to coat lightly, sprinkle with salt and pepper (crushed garlic and/or grated parmesan cheese are great options too!), and spread on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Roast until sprouts are browning and crisp outside and tender inside, about 30–35 minutes (turn once halfway through).
- Sprinkle with more salt to taste, and serve!
Prep time, 5–10 minutes; cook time, 30–35 minutes.
