Simple Honey-Roasted Quince

INGREDIENTS
1 quince, peeled, sliced in half lengthwise, and deseeded
1 lime
2 tablespoons warmed honey
1 tablespoon water

PREPARATION

  • Peel quince, slice in half lengthwise, remove seeds, and cut into 8 wedges.
  • Place wedges flat in a parchment-lined or lightly oiled baking dish, and drizzle with the juice of one lime.
  • Next, drizzle with 2 tablespoons of warmed honey, then sprinkle a tablespoon of water around the baking dish.
  • Cover with tin foil and bake at 300°F for 45 minutes or until fork-tender.
  • Flip slices over, and bake uncovered for another 10 minutes until golden.
